This delicious coffee was grown by over 30 indigenous Nasa coffee farmers from Cauca, Colombia, using ancient farming techniques. Multiple cropping systems, composting, and shade trees are some of the agricultural practices used to cultivate this coffee. These farming practices honor our indigenous traditions of caring for our land by eliminating the use of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. After growing and harvesting the coffee, farmers bring their cherries to our facility. Once there, we carefully process the beans using the semi-washed method to obtain a final product balanced in sweetness, acidity, and body. This blend was medium-dark roasted to highlight its dark chocolate notes and appeal to lovers of strong coffee.
